Blackduck MN

The perch are biting already and since the ice disappeared a month early this year. The lake level is way, way,  way, down since we have not had a drop of rain this spring yet. It looks like the walleye are biting already since we did catch some walleye while fishing for some perch. WE do have minnows coming in at the dock already  and the water is crystal  clear. The river is flowing but is slowing down really fast since the rain has not come yet.
